In 2007 the first Insect Regime recordings were made by Patrick from Redsk as a sort of found-sound project which dealt mostly with "scrap" audio and feedback loops. The project retired after one release with Violence Cotton Drone. Some recordings were leaked over the years until 2010. In 2013, the project was revived as a duo with Henry Rial. It now exists as a harshnoise, HNW, and duck-worship band.
