Real name: Sandile Ngwenya

South African kwaito artist from the Zola section of Soweto, Gauteng, Republic of South Africa. Mapaputsi was one of the originators of the kwaito sound, along with the likes of Zola 7, TKZee, and Chiskop among many others. He is best known for his 2001 album 'Izinja', which won him the Best Kwaito Artist and Best Kwaito Song at the Metro FM Awards in 2002.
