Having performed in various bands and ensembles, and contributed to several album releases, Tirill Mohn (born 22 February 1975) has extensive experience as songwriter, arranger, producer and musician.
In 2011, she founded the label Fairy Music, through which she has released three critically acclaimed solo albums.
Her distinctive evocative, melancholy and twilit soundscapes, described as a mix of indie, alternative folk, Celtic New Age and ambient acoustic progressive, are built on a conglomerate of inspirations, bridging the gap between 1970’s singer-songwriter traditions, folk music and contemporary classical music.
