One of the last Selk'nam, and also a religious shaman,
Lola recorded the chants of her people with anthropologist Anne MacKaye Chapman during the winter of 1964/1965, and again in the spring of 1966.
Out of the ninety-two chants recorded that year, eighty-seven were issued on four records in 1972 and 1978.

Born in Tierra del Fuego province, Argentina -circa 1874- and died on October 9,1966 in Tierra del Fuego
