Real name: née Marie Comings Arbuckle

American soprano vocalist.
Born in New Hampshire, but grew up in Santa Monica, California.
She married radio engineer Paul A. Greene in the 1930s, and recording engineer Vinton Vernon in 1952.
Greene sang in the radio, with various big bands, and did some vocal dubbing for films. Greene could sing in a female crooner style or switch into a light high coloratura soprano voice. She appeared in a couple Hollywood films, and also did some vocal dubbing for small roles in the musical films "The Sound of Music", "Carousel", and "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers".
