Lissette Álvarez Chorens, commonly known as Lissette, is a Peru-born singer, songwriter, and record producer from Cuba. Married to Willy Chirino. Lissette launched her adult career after moving to Puerto Rico in 1965 when she was about 18. She later moved and settled in Miami in 1979 when she was about 32. She is best known for her Spanish-language version of Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart" ("Eclipse Total del Amor"). Once married to singer, Chucho Avellanet.
