Sleeping Dogs aka 睡狗 is an instrumental band based in Beijing, who takes the name from an action-adventure video game about Hong Kong gangsters and undercover spies. They are inspired by hip hop breaks, 70s library sound, spiritual jazz, funk and soul gems, rhythms and sounds from Africa to Brazil, and try to blend all of these into a new instrumental form.
