Joe "Mr Piano" Henderson

Real name: Joseph Turner Henderson

Effective period / Period of releases: 1955 - 1992

British pianist and composer. Born Glasgow, Scotland 1920-1980.

Musical accompanist and director to Petula Clark in the late 1940s and throughout the 1950s in concerts and on BBC radio. His most famous composition was "Why Don’t They Understand" (1957) which was a hit in the UK and USA for George Hamilton IV. His most famous piano solo hit was "Trudie" (1958).
