Belgian jazz pianist, born September 7, 1930 in Brussels, Belgium, deceased November 11, 1990 in Köln, Germany.
Son of Fernand Coppieters and Berthe Coppi. Studied at Conservatoire De Musique, Brussels. Moved to Cologne in 1957 to join Orchester Kurt Edelhagen. Further pianist and composer for NDR Hannover and SWF Kaiserslautern. Worked for record companies, publishers (library music) and television and was a lecturer at Cologne University of Music
