Steve Holley

Real name: Stephen Jeffrey Holley

British rock drummer. Born 24 August 1954 in London, England, UK.
He was a member of Horse (11) (circa 1968/1970), G.T. Moore And The Reggae Guitars (in the 1970's), Amity & Vapour Trails (also Kiki Dee's backing band) before Wings. He was the drummer of Paul McCartney and Wings (2) from August 1978 to April 1981. He later was a member of Reckless Sleepers. He performed with Elton John, Julian Lennon, & Joe Cocker among others. He has been touring with Ian Hunter for several years as a member of Ian Hunter & The Rant Band.
On July 3rd 1981, he moved to New York City, NY, USA, made a name for himself, worked on many recordings and toured with Joe Cocker. In later years, he has gotten involved in music production with Pilot Recording Studios owner/producer Will Schillinger.
