Effective period / Period of releases: 1964 - 1966

The Crampton Sisters were Peggy and Pat and grew up in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Peggy had won many talent contests, by age ten. After high school, she attended the prestigious Julliard School Of Music in New York City and studied classical piano. She studied under Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Oscar Peterson and others. It was then that she and sister Pat formed the Crampton Sisters and had quite a local following. They even performed on American Bandstand.
