Started a band in 1974 called Mile Hi who were heavily influenced by good friends Y & T, indeed they even rehearsed and opened shows for them.
Mile Hi eventually grew into another band 415 who later changed their name to Eric Martin Band before eventually disbanding in 1984 after losing their recording contract.
He eventually signed for his good friends Y & T whom he still tours with to this day.
