Power

Members: Martin Von Schmalensee, Marcel Jacob, Patrik Appelgren, Joakim Larsson, Christopher Ståhl, Peter Olsson (3), Jari Katila, Thomas Jansson (5)

Power evolved from the hard rock act Highbrow. Power's line-up at this time comprised of vocalist Björn Jansson, guitarist Christopher Ståhl, bassist Marcel Jacob, keyboardist Patrik Applegren and drummer Zepp Ugard. Bass player Marcel left to join Yngwie Malmsteen and was replaced by Peter Olson, a former member of Force (pre-Europe (2)). Zepp also joined Malmsteen and was replaced by Jari Katila.
They released 2 singles: "Lyin' And Teasin' / Heal My Heart" (1986) and "Danger / Love Ain't Meant Forever" (1987). Power split in 1990 despite interest from some major labels. Jansson joined Racketeer, Ståhl played guitar on the debut Talisman (6) album whilst Applegren joined Treat (2).
