Raoul started as a pianist, eventually moving more towards free improvisation and composition. There he discovered that he loved all sounds. The piano is now just one of the many possibilities to compose music and make sounds. These days, Raoul calls himself an electro-acoustic music composer. Drawing heavily on modern composing and improvisation techniques like code and silence. Raoul loves to explore new territories and play with noise, electronics, textures, tape, his beloved Wurlitzer piano, and DIY Synthesizers. This is what Raoul's work is all about.
