Real name: Mpho Pholo

A South African producer/musician/DJ born in East London but grew up in King William's Town, Mpho's musical career began in 1995 when he began studying classical music.

After various stints as the school's cadets team' trumpeter and a choir member, he went on to study electrical engineering at UCT in 1999, all the while honing his radio host and DJ skills. In 2002, one of his demo tracks was licensed for the Silvertab Harambe Dope Sessions.

In 2004 he moved to Johannesburg, became Ghetto Ruff's in-house producer/engineer and has since launched his own Reck Shoppe Tunez company.
