Unofficial name used as a pseudonym for several Dutch radio orchestras recording for Musical Masterpiece Society (Use Netherlands Philharmonic Choir for chorus credit).
In 1985 the Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest was officially created by merging the Amsterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, the Utrechts Stedelijk Orkest and the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra with latter remaining a separate operating entity within the Stichting Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest.
