Kristian Littmann

Kristian is a dj/producer based in Vancouver, Canada. A relentless sourcer of fresh music and unearthed gems, Kristian's sound incorporates the best elements of disco, house, and techno, spanning subtle, groovy basslines, cruisy hypnotic grooves, and peak-time shakers, but always with an eye on keeping the dancefloor moving. Kristian's dj influences include Danny Howells, Greg Wilson, Sasha and Terry Francis. He counts Psychemagik, The Revenge, Chab, Asad Rizvi, and Late Nite Tuff Guy as some of his favourite producers. His first release "Acid Rephlux" was released on Powerplant Music in October, 2007. Backed with a remix by the talented Kriece from Australia, it spent four weeks on the Balance promo chart, peaking at 16. More recently, he has been working on a series of funk and disco edits under the alias "Instant Phunk" (with partner-in-crime John Morgan). Kristian has put together many well received mixes over the years, including the "Morning, Noon, and Night" trilogy, with John Morgan and Kiki Stewardson (both of Powerplant), and "Stickiest", voted one of the best-ever mixes aired on Frisky Radio.
