The Bronx based teen disco group Devoshun are considered to be the Pioneers of disco funk music. included guitarist Louie Perez, vocalist Joe Irving (aka Coco Jaman), vocalist Lori Rose, band leader/drummer producer Steve Adorno, bassist Rodney Forestall , percussionist Carlos "Go-Go" Gomez, keyboardist Artie "Sweet" Shane, and guitarist vocalist Mike Ledezma. The band was recognized by Billboard Magazine
