William Cornysh (also spelled Cornyshe, Cornysshe or Cornish, born c. 1465 in East Greenwich, England - died October, 1523) was an English composer, playwright, actor and poet. He was the court musician of Henry VIII, who granted him a manor in Kent, where he presumably died.
