Alexander Davidenko (1899–1934) was a Soviet proletarian composer and author of many popular revolutionary songs. He studied at the Moscow Conservatory (1922–29) with Reinhold Glière and Choral Academy (1922–24) with Alexandr Kastalsky, and later received a PhD degree from the Conservatory in 1932.
