Slimmy is a portuguese musician that uses rock music as a way to express himself, with a irreverent look to support his performances. His real name is Paulo Fernandes and he is from Porto, in the north of Portugal.

It was during a stay in London, where he was living for a couple of years that he meet important people in the music industry. He had one of his songs, 'Bloodshoot Star', in the soundtrack of the TV show CSI Miami. 'Self Control' was also used on Sky Sports channel.

Slimmy’s first album – "Beatsound Loverboy", was ranked as the third best Portuguese album since 1994, in a pool launched from the Antena 3 portuguese radio to find out the best records in its lifetime.
