Jazz Singer who grew up in the Tulsa community, and later relocated to Oklahoma City with Charles Burton. Barbara was featured with Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers and recognized at the 15th Annual Grammy Awards. She has also played with Roger Miller and Brenda Lee. Barbara and Charles are both Jazz Inductees of the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame edition from 2001. Their son Charles Burton, III (Tré) recorded and performs with them as well.
