Music journalist, author, editor and musician. He is a regular contributor to 'Jazz Times', 'Guitar Player, Bass Player', 'Modern Drummer' and 'Jazziz' magazines. He is also the author of JACO: The Extraordinary And Tragic Life Of Jaco Pastorius, which is receiving a Deluxe Edition rewrite in 2005. Born in Milwaukee, WI on September 26, 1954 he is now based in New York.
