Real name: Gert Smedegaard Andreasen

Gert Smedegaard was a Danish drummer, born 13 October 1951 in Skanderborg, died 30 November 2018 in Taarbæk. He became a member of the second reincarnation of Ache (2) in 1975. He has been playing with C. V. Jørgensen since 1974, as well as numerous other Danish artists, both on record and live. He is the father of drummer Jacob Smedegaard, as well as younger brother of drummer Carsten Smedegaard.
