German composer and pianist, born 30th June 1953 in Bucharest. Twin-sister of Monika Hölszky-Wiedemann.
1972 to 1976: composition studies with Ștefan Niculescu at Universitatea Națională de Muzică din București.
1977 to 1980: composition studies with Milko Kelemen at Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart
1978 to 1984: regular participation in the Internationale Ferienkurse für Neue Musik, Darmstadt.
Member of Akademie der Künste, Berlin since 2002.
