Linda De Lindsay
Originally from Ivory Coast, Linda de Lindsay was destined, after studying law at the University of Abidjan, for a career as a "~lawwoman~", (lawyer or commissioner - she was eligible for the competition of police commissioner). But his meeting with the coupé-décalé singer Richard Koudougnon known as “~Boro Sanguy~” (or Bôrô), founding member of the Douk Saga Jet Set, will change his destiny. From then on, this showbiz and fashion enthusiast turned to music and decided to combine the two.
Based on her pronounced taste for SAPE, in particular tight-fitting fashion, she launched "~stylmoulance~", a musical current merging coupé-décalé, "~abissa~" (New Year's party and dance of rejoicing of the N' Zima Kôtôkô) and Ivorian zouglou, Cameroonian makossa, American funk and Caribbean afro zouk. With the release of her first opus Amnesia (2005) and especially the single "~Stylmoulancia~" (on respect and virtue) which were a real success, Linda de Lindsay's career really took off.
