Fritz Mahler

Austrian conductor, born 16 July 1901 in Vienna, Austria and died 18 June 1973 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, United States.He worked with the Danish State Symphony from 1930-1935, and moved to the US in 1936. Mahler first served as music director for the Hartford Symphony in 1954.
His father was a first cousin of Gustav Mahler.
