Mississippi singer/songwriter who was a vocalist for The Commandos in Austin, Texas in the 1980s.
Elkins was a member of folk group Slow Risers in Mississippi, followed by rock band Eveready in Austin in the mid-1970s and Mississippi rock band The Drapes. She moved to Austin again in 1982 and formed The Commandos with Gerry Felton, returning to Mississippi around 1986, where she sang in the bands F-Troop and The Viewmasters.
