Manuela Moura Guedes had a short-lived musical career in the 1980s, during which she was also a radio and TV presenter (then under the name Manuela Matos). She quickly left the music business to become solely a journalist and then news anchor for Portuguese TV channels RTP and later TVI. Also had a brief spell as a member of parliament.
