Real name: Ximena Cibils

Born in Venezuela in 1987, to Uruguayan parents, Mena began to dabble steadily in the local music scene shortly before 2010. Her participation in various projects, as an interpreter of her own songs or as a collaborator (the sequence of albums Música para viajes interdepartamentales, along with Fabrizio Rossi and Francisco Trujillo, the combo Thieves of Bicycles, Oneills), showed her as a multifaceted artist, possessing a great capacity for experimentation. She passed away in 2019.
