Belgian trumpet player and bandleader, born Bois-de-Breux (Liège), 1930, passed away in Liège, 2001. Led the orchestra for many editions of the Spa Song Festival as well as being the musical director of the 1987 Eurovision Song Contest in Brussels. Furthermore, he conducted two Belgian Eurovision entries, most notably the winning 'J'aime la vie' for Sandra Kim in 1986.
