Double Live recorded at Kiewit Airfield, Hasselt, Belgium on August 30th 1991Numbered limited edition in Yellow vinyl
In 1991 Ac/dc returned to Europe for a second leg of their massive The Razors Edge Tour when they headlined all 13 dates on the European Monsters Of Rock Festival tour 1991. It started in Copenhagen on the 10th of August and ended with that massive show at Tushino Airfield in Moscow on the 28rd of September. This album captures the band during that tour at the Kiewit Airfield in Hassel, Belgium on the 30th of August 1991. This concert was actually not at the Kiewit Airfield itself, but on a field nearby. Neither was it the same venue as the nearby Pukkelpop festival a few weeks later but on a one time venue field. 30 000 came to see Queensryche, Motley Crue, Metallica and headlining act AC/DC. The setlist was a shortened version of the tracks that were performed during their headlining shows. Only two tracks made it from the latest album, Thunderstruck and Fire Your Guns. Otherwise its mostly Back In Black tracks or Bon-era tracks so no real suprises. So this Monsters Of Rock Tour was mostly a best of show to prove the world that AC/DC was back, bigger and better than ever. Brian Johnsons voice is in fine form and shows his good humour throughout. Sure the show is shorter than the headling ones so it doesnt leave the space to Angus to stretch out. So if you only want one live show from The Razors Edge tour then go for something from the headlining tour for the simple reason that more AC/DC is obviously better than less.
