This record showcases a live New Year's Eve broadcast from the Festival Hall Melbourne in December 1974 just prior to the recording of the first AC/DC album. Bon Scott had recently joined the band, but the drum and bass positions remained fluid. AC/DC were just beginning the long climb to success. At this stage the band were still relative unknowns even in their own country.
