Hansford Mthembu's first guitar was made out of a paraffin tin with which he used to serenade his father's cattle.
Hansford recored 27 singles with Bra Sello and Roger Xezu before he joined Gramophone Record Company in 1967 and Abafana Bentuthuko was born.
This album comprises new material recorded at RPM Studios in late 1987 and is some of the finest Soweto-Jive material written.
