Frottole are “little musical miniatures that sing of human passion with nobility and restraint”. They first appeared at the turn of the fifteenth century in the courts of Lombardy (Mantua, Venice, Verona, etc.)

Recorded April 28 to May 1, 2005 at the Tibor Varga Foundation Studio, Sion, Switzerland.

The CD is housed in a digipak® manufactured by Van de Steeg, Holland, under license from AGI, USA. Total time 69'03.
The attached booklet contains 67 pages with libretto and notes in English, French, Dutch and Italian. © Kastafior 2005 for all texts and translations.
