Release Date: 1991

Label: Landmark Recording

1st version, with many differences from the later remake. Differences include....

1st version has black tapes with light blue printed labels. 2nd version has black tapes with white printed labels. Both versions tape labels have a very similar layout with very minor differences.
1st versions lists the actual recording lineup, with Jim Carlin on guitar. By the time of the 2nd version he was replaced by Curt Dunlap, so 2nd version copies have the lineup altered by hand to reflect this change.
1st version cover printed on slightly off-white cardstock, which often has disclored appearing tan. 2nd version cover printed on different, completely white paper.
Front cover on 2nd version has extra white space on the right side of the artwork. This is because the original version has the covers cut right at the edge of the art, making them appear slightly too small in the case, so the extra space on the remake fixes that.
Both versions have a single-sided J-Card, and both versions sometimes, but not always, came with a fold-out lyric and credits insert.
2nd version has same 4 songs on both sides. 1st version is A-Side only.

In between the two main versions a small number of copies were made using the extra leftover materials from the 1st version. These copies use the exact same tapes, blue paper tape labels, and off white cardstock covers, to create a small amount of additional copies that are basically the same as the 1st version tapes, but with the cover and tape labels handwritten by the band. None of these copies, however, had the fold-out insert.
