R side recorded June 21, 1912, New York, NY. This matrix was used for a preliminary coupling originally released on Edison 80044-R, and also on earlier pressings of permanent couplings on Edison 80061, from spring 1913 to spring 1915. The selection was then re-recorded by Elizabeth Spencer as Mx. 3770 in May 1915 and this subsequent version was used on later repressings of Edison 80061.

L side recorded October 28, 1912, New York, NY. This matrix was used for preliminary couplings originally released on Edison 80046-R and 50016-L, and also on earlier pressings of permanent couplings on Edison 80061, from spring 1913 to spring 1915. The selection was then re-recorded by Mary Carson as Mx. 3794 in May 1915 and this subsequent version was used on later repressings of Edison 80061.

Versions of Edison 80061 containing re-recorded versions of these songs are grouped here: Elizabeth Spencer, Mary Carson - Silver Threads Among The Gold / The Kiss

The three bonding indentations found in a triangular pattern in the label area demonstrate that this is a repressing, likely from early 1915 before new recordings of these songs were made.
