Amores (1943) for prepared piano solo and percussion trio. Two movements of prepared piano surrounds two trios for percussion, but since the dance of the same title made by Merce Cunningham (in 1949) uses only the movements for piano, it could be considered correct to perform only those (which this recording does).
A Room (1943) for prepared piano solo is a part of the concert piece "She Is Asleep" but can also be performed separately as a solopiece.

Valentine Out Of Season (1944) for prepared piano is dedicated to Xenia Cage. Merce Cunningham created a dance for the piece, which he originally titled "Effusions Avant L'Heure", later changed to "Games" and "Trio".
