Akikaze is the electronic exploration of Pepijn Courant (January Aquarius). This is his fifth compact disc of electronic music. Performed using analog and digital electronic instruments, acoustic percussion, voice and natural sound recordings. Originally recorded at home in Groningen in the winter of 1989-1990 and released on cassette in 1990. Mixed and partly re-recorded in Utrecht in the summer of 2001. This music was inspired by the dynamic changes of the 20th century and by the visionary poems of William Blake. Bonus track "Dimona Blues" recorded in the summer of 2003. Edited and remastered in the Quantum Studios, December 2003 - February 2004.© 2004 Quantum Records
