Zambian Emcee and Wordsmith Al Kan-I is back again with a follow up solo project to his 2007 Mixtape; Critical Acclamation. This time around he delivers a combination of his trademark wordplay, unique concepts and clever punchlines in his latest offering dubbed "Master Copy Experience."Al Kan-I kicks off the project with the Argentine beat maker Poison hertz produced title track which features vocals from Canadian based Zambian soul singer CeeCeefied. In this track Al Kan-I delivers serious “bars of conviction, chasing the glory” in his usual strong and impressive mature rhyming technique.
Another outstanding track to look out for is “Did what I did” which is a tale about a young unemployed man living in the ghetto with his single mother who is caught up in the mix of a dramatic situation which is extremely complex for him to solve.
As if that song is not conceptual enough to save a project Al Kan-I unleashes "Golden Calf " which is yet another food for thought blockbuster.
The Slam Dunk Records Emcee displays versatility in songs like the Pope produced “recognize”, the Jerry cash laced “like this” and the highly lyrical hard hitting bars in Nigerian producer Teckzilla produced "kill them with the flow" which has assists from fellow Zone Fam members and label-mates The Holstar and Dope G, who help Al Kan-I with schooling rookie rappers on how the work is supposed to be done.
Songs like the “what’s up ma” and the Yung Verbal Featured “Apple of my eye” show yet another side to the million faces of Al Kan-I as he smoothly delivers for the women folk.
This project is yet another sculptured slam dunk records classic which has indigenous Zambian production alongside International production credits from West Africa and South America.
Listeners are advised to fasten their seat belts and brace themselves for this here; "Master Copy Experience."
