Given to the Heart is the eighth studio album by Aleksandar Mežek, released in 1989 by ZKP RTV Ljubljana. The songs were recorded in Studio House, Abbey Road Studio 1 and Livingston Studio in London, Studio 26 RTV Ljubljana in Ljubljana and Master Control Studio in Los Angeles. Many well-known performers took part in the recording, such as Cliff Richards, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Slovenian Octet, the Consortium Musicum and the RTV Ljubljana Chamber Choir. The author of the orchestral arrangements is Paul Buckmaster, and the author of the choral arrangements is Rick Wakeman. In 1990, the British version of this album Presented to the Heart was released.
