1996 London CD compilation issue, in the Phase 4 Stereo Series, of recordings made in 1967-69 by Leopold Stokowski featuring selections from three separate Russian composers, performed by various orchestras, chorus, and band as denoted in the Credits section. The packaging features an eight-page booklet with explanatory notes concerning the Phase 4 recording process, liner notes by Kenneth Chalmers, a brief technical note, and a partial list of other titles available on CD in the Phase 4 Series on the interior pages; and color front and back covers, the former featuring a reproduction of a graphic by an unidentified artist, and the latter featuring track information. (The title varies throughout the packaging, but the selected variant is mentioned on both the booklet and inlay card -- as well as being the most representative of the actual contents!)
