Ali Ollie Woodson thanks . . .
The almighty god - first and foremost, I would like to thank you for your limitless love and blessings. I Shall forever praise you and put none or nothing before you; My family for their loving support. Especially my wife Juanita, thank you for your unconditional love. (I dedicate this record to you). My three children, I can't explain the love and joy my children bring to my heart.
Everyone knows your children can make you laugh and most of all cry. But still all there are mine and daddy loves you! To the rest of my family, my heart belongs to you; All the members of my band, "keep working on those moves guys" (smile). Expansion Records, Ralph Tee and Richard Searling, thank you for making me do this. Andreas Hellingh.Without you, my friend, this album would not be possible.
Expansion thanks . . .
This album has been a four year journey and a result that would not have been possible without the invaluable help of Andreas Hellingh, the "Crazy Dutchman". For his tiredless work we are most thankful. We are also grateful to my Atlanta buddy Allen Richardson for making me miss my plane home n 1997 so he could take me to a place where this all began. To producers Preston Glass (one of the true nice guys), Sanchez Harley (keeping the music real!), Earth Wind & Fire boy Al McKay (did I tell you I was also a huge Caldera fan?) and Philip French (make us some more music, please), this work is incredible. To Ollie, you are a complete and total star! We're so glad that after all the gentle persuasion' and chasing you across America that all has been worthwile and that your first solo album is now released. Real soul will never die! Ralph Tee
