Recorded at the Metro Chicago, IL. Sides A, B, O and P were recorded on October 16, 2014. Sides C, D, M and N were recorded on October 17, 2014. Sides E, F, K and L were recorded on October 18, 2014. Sides G, H, I and J were recorded on October 19, 2014.

The set was available as deluxe and super deluxe. Both options came with all 8 discs in an exclusive box with a signed and hand numbered (out of 500) lithograph, a t-shirt and the Alkaline Trio - Past Live Blu-ray. The super deluxe also came with a bag made from cut down old Alkaline Trio stage backdrops.

All discs are marbled with a different shade of their main colour.
