Tracks 1-3 recorded Harlequin '82, released 1981 on 7" as Alms For Children - Alms Not Arms on REM Records - REM 02.
Track 4 recorded at 132 late 1981 and tracks 5 to 12 recorded on 4 track at The Lab Auckland, NZ, June 1982. Released 1982 on LP as This Sporting Life - "Show Me To The Bellrope" on Flying Nun Records - FN011.
Tracks 13 to 16 recorded at Progressive Music Studios 1983. Released 1983 on a 12" as This Sporting Life - In Limbo on Flying Nun Records - TSL002.
Tracks 17-24 recorded live.

The release does not differentiate between the two projects.
It's listed here in regards as to how the original tracks appeared.

Digipak includes 1 x card insert and 8-page booklet.
First 200 copies comes in a sealed corrugated cardboard outer sleeve, stamped "AFC" and "TSL" on alternate sides.
Limited Edition of 300.
