What Revolution? was originally recorded for the LP If They Treat You Like Shit - Act Like Manure. on Corpus Christi but for some unknown reason it was dropped at the last minute for a live track. We asked the band about this and not one member could remember why but all admitted it was a massive mistake as What Revolution? Is classic Alternative. Impassioned and raging anarcho punk with duel female and male vocals. On the flip is two radically different mixes from the album of Another Subversive Peace Song and Love And Life which have the guitar tones clean and give both tracks a fresher sound. Another Subversive Peace Song is the first remix, Love And Life is the original mix.All songs recorded and mixed at Southern Studios, London April - 84.
This record is dedicated to the memories of Linda Linger (incorrectly given as Linder on sleeve) 1959/2006 and David 'Chips' 1963/2005.
The 7” comes housed in a Crass style sleeve that folds out into a 14" x 21" poster with the lyrics to Eat The Rich by Linda Linger printed on it. The original poster design by comics artist Colin MacNeil was deemed unsuitable by the record label and replaced by this image by SPK instead. Colin MacNeil is still credited on the sleeve in error.
Matrix runout infos are etched except the stamped MPO logo followed by the laser etched stamper number.
