Listening to Alzo, I sit stunned. Alzo's music hypnotizes me in the worst way and then he takes advantage of me. No, not like that. He liberates my senses so I can yell at myself like he does.
From the funk ecstasy of "The Attractor" to the wild hallucinogenic underpinnings of the other songs, I'm left with little spiders crawling on me. The Acid Achievers sound tight and loose all at the same time. It makes me shiver. The whole tape is a lake undrunk. It tastes like a mixed drink left out overnight.
The music is attacking me, this music is all over me. This music wants my soul. And Alzo is that demon-seed preacher talking about the animals, Nietzsche and psychopathology. My Soul!
Don't let it give you any ideas about fire rituals, orgies, cloaks and daggers. Lucifer is humming this stuff and my head just exploded inside.
