Check out "Shadows," the second album from the one-man project Aminolen, released on the label Cuntroll. It comprises eight experimental tracks — a mixture of jazz, lounge and abstract hip-hop music united by a common sentiment.

Composer George Frideric Handel was right to say that he would be sorry if he only entertained his listeners, saying his goal was to “make them better.” That is what music sometimes does. Existing beyond any words and notions, it humbly cleans our ‘doors of comprehension’ and teaches us to note the beauty in the surrounding world. Every listener will comprehend and understand this album in his own way. It creates a night-time atmosphere when nothing disturbs you and all you can see is empty streets; and you have plans for tomorrow, emotional experience and routine tasks ahead of you. This music is very visual. Enjoy listening, thinking and diving into it!

“I come from a small Ural town of Trekhgornyy. I have been producing electronic music since 2006 and I also play keyboards. I have worked in various genres but ended up producing broken beats and atmospheric music,” Aminolen says.
“I used a midi-controller, virtual instruments and the Korg MS 2000R synthesizer for this album. Two tracks were produced together with guitar player Creas Lee. The album is best listened when, for example, it is six a.m. and you are standing at a balcony with a cup of coffee in your hands and thinking how good it would be to spend a couple of weeks somewhere where the temperature is warmer than 15 degrees and it does not rain 20 days a months.”
