This album has the premier recording of Robert Jones's "As I lay lately in a dream" and a rare version of "My Lord Willoughby's Welcome Home" (here shortened to "Lord Willoughby") sung by the soprano and accompanied by lute instead of the common performance as a lute solo. CD booklet is included with notes about Englsih lute songs, the composers, and technical info about the recording. Tracks 3,5,6,9,11,15,16 are recorded with Didrik DeGeer microphones and preamps.
