The thought behind this was that I've always wanted to compose a soundtrack for a video game, and in the spirit of DIY culture I said to myself: Before I wait for someone to ask me, I'll just do it myself.
Mount&Blade is a game that has fascinated me for over a decade and has been a great companion in turbulent times since the days before I even thought about creating my own music.
In the first version of this modification, I was mainly concerned with writing and inserting the soundtrack appropriately. It was also important to me to give the whole game a somewhat dark touch in the spirit of old fantasy films. Furthermore, I just wanted to add some quality of life tweaks that make certain details of the gameplay more pleasant and less annoying."
